Description
A coiled rattan proving basket (banneton) for the final rise of sourdough and other bread doughs. The cane coils support the dough as it proves and leave a spiral pattern on the crust when the loaf is turned out. A cloth liner is supplied for a smooth-sided loaf or for wetter doughs.
This listing is for the oval basket of approximately 21 x 15 x 8 cm with its liner; the photographs show it alongside other sizes that are not included.
